Can we go with lemon law. I began having problems with the car lurching this summer. I have read other woes about the same thing on this website. My kids first cars will be Toyotas. I took it in to the dealership where I have it serviced and they said I needed a new transmission. I have once again returned the vehicle to the dealership and I refuse to pick it up until they recreate the problem.
Moreover, the service person requested that I come by tomorrow, 2-5-2019 if her manager approves my request to pick up a courtesy vehicle. The next morning, they start the car up and drive it around town for 20 miles! The current mileage was 55,000 and failure mileage was 7,435. I have already spent more on this car and dont want to spend anything more. In other words, It wouldn't go up past neutral into reverse or park. I asked my husband to drive it but by the time he got around to it, the car would be driving fine.
