Also the laptop contains a lot of important pictures, I know I should have backed them up first but I completely forgot big mistake. If you keep having problems then also create a new profile. Then visit to download a fresh version. Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer. I do not use Norton or other McAfee, but regularly run Avast, Spybot, Windows Defender and SuperAntiSpyware.
